Profile Information: Golf-related preferences such as handedness (left/right), handicap index, skill level, and play frequency.
Video Content: Golf swing videos you record or upload for analysis.
User-Generated Content: Notes, annotations, and feedback you provide within the app.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration, and screen views.
Crash Data: Technical information about app crashes to help us improve stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide Services: Analyze your golf swing videos using AI and provide personalized feedback.
Sync Data: Store and synchronize your swing sessions across devices when you're signed in.
Improve the App: Understand how users interact with our app to enhance features and fix issues.
Communicate: Send important updates about the service (we do not send marketing emails without consent).
Safety & Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

4. AI Video Analysis

When you analyze a swing, your video is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for processing. The AI analyzes your swing mechanics and returns feedback. We do not use your videos to train AI models. Videos are processed in real-time and are not retained by the AI service after analysis is complete.

5. Data Storage & Security

Local Storage: Videos and session data are stored locally on your device.
Cloud Storage: If you sign in, your data is synced to Firebase (Google Cloud) servers located in the United States.
Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
Access Controls: Your cloud data is only accessible to your authenticated account.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service Providers: Firebase (authentication, storage, analytics), Google Gemini (AI analysis).
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Access & Export: View and export your swing data from within the app.
Delete: Delete individual swing sessions or your entire account and associated data.
Guest Mode: Use the app without creating an account (data stays local only).
Analytics Opt-Out: Disable analytics through your device settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes).

9. Children's Privacy

Golf Lab AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
