Common questions
My swing wasn't detected
Make sure your whole body is in frame, the camera is steady (prop it against your bag or use a small tripod), and there's decent light. If auto-detection misses, the app falls back to a manual trim screen so you can still analyze the swing.
How do check-ins work on the free plan?
You get 3 AI swing check-ins each month, resetting on the 1st. Recording and playback are unlimited. Pro removes the check-in limit and unlocks full history and drawing tools; pricing is shown in the app.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Golf Lab AI. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period ends. To restore a purchase on a new phone, open the paywall and tap "Restore purchases."
Where are my videos stored?
On your phone. If you sign in, swings also sync to your private cloud storage so they survive phone upgrades. Swing tracking runs entirely on-device; AI check-ins send a handful of still frames, never your name or location.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting a swing in the app removes it locally and from cloud sync. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email support@golflabai.com from the address you signed in with and we'll handle it within 30 days.
